How to get started with your Instant Pot
Habit: a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.
Many of us will have kicked off the new decade with promises to ourselves to create new habits, or break die-hard old ones. Regardless of how well our new regimes have stuck, as January comes to a close we are looking forward to brighter mornings and lighter evenings.
One circle of the Zen mission is to help the aspiring home cook create a new habit and find a way to both better physical and mental health with the use of a slow cooker / Multi-Cooker.
Aspiring to incorporate one slow cook or pressure cook recipe a week into a menu plan is a great place to start. But how do you begin to get started?
You may have a new Instant Pot a.k.a Multi-Cooker sitting, unused, in its original box, or simply have fallen out of practice with your slow cooker. We invite you to join us and get started by following 6 simple steps in this Step-by-Step guide.
A couple of simple, introductory recipes to get you started include taco chili, and black bean and squash chili. Why not set up a chili bar for Super Bowl this weekend, with all the fixings and a round of Margaritas.
Since January is National Slow Cooker Month we encourage you to “Let it go, low and slow!” Most of our recipes are Instant Pot and Slow Cooker friendly, you choose. Click on the images below for the recipes.
