Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 3 x 20 oz cans Jackfruit green
  4. 1 Smoky BBQ blend
Carolina dipping sauce (optional) or a sticky BBQ sauce
  1. 1/2 cup / 4 fl oz cider vinegar
  2. 1/4 cup / 2 fl oz water
  3. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  4. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  6. 1/4 tsp salt
  7. dash of tabasco
Instructions
  1. add the cider vinegar and water to the Slow Cooker and stir in the Smoky BBQ blend to combine.
  2. add the jackfruit to the slow cooker, stir, cover & cook on LOW: 4 hours or HIGH: 2 hours.
  3. remove the jackfruit and shred using 2 forks
  4. return the jackfruit to the juices in the Slow Cooker, it is ready to serve
for the sauce
  1. mix the ingredients in a small jug or use your favorite BBQ sauce
  2. serve on a toasted pretzel or brioche bun, drizzle with sauce, serve with a side of coleslaw
