Smoky BBQ Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs salmon fillet
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Smoky BBQ blend

Instructions

Grilling

  • In a small bowl mix oil with the Smoky BBQ blend
  • Brush over the flesh side of the salmon fillet(s)
  • Pre-heat grill to 450 f
  • Place Salmon skin side down on the hot grill, cover with the lid, & leave for 8 - 10 minutes depending on thickness
  • flip salmon for 1 additional minute at the end to finish cooking
  • Serve in a wrap or naan.

Notes

It is important not to move the salmon around the grill until after the first 8-10 minutes of cooking because it may stick. 
Don't oil the grill, but if you are concerned the salmon may stick then brush the skin-side with a little olive oil.
